This painting is for creatives of any type that inevitably get stuck along the way in the process of creating. I think we can all relate to a time in our lives where the ideas would not come to fruition no matter how hard we tried. Late nights of coffee and cigarettes fuel the creative fire to further along the process.
The visuals in this piece are in part inspired by the dimly lit smokey offices depicted in so many of the movies I have watched over the years. The objects are placed and the tone is set in order to convey an intimate and contemplative mood.
